We’re Hiring: Project Coordinator in the Maldives

Coralive is looking for an experienced Project Coordinator to lead our coral restoration project and volunteer and internship program at Oaga Art Resort in the Maldives.

This is a hands-on, field-based PAID position combining coral restoration, reef monitoring, scientific data collection and project development with the coordination of an educational volunteer program.

The Project Coordinator will oversee the maintenance and expansion of the restoration site, including coral nursery management, outplanting, monitoring and predator management. They will also coordinate volunteers and interns, organize training and field activities, support participant logistics and help continually develop the program.

We are looking for someone who is organized, adaptable and confident working both underwater and with people. Applicants should have:

  • A BSc in marine science or a related field
  • A minimum PADI Divemaster certification with at least 200 logged dives
  • 1-2 years of coral restoration experience
  • Previous management and volunteer or intern supervision experience
  • Strong understanding of coral reef ecology and marine science
  • Fluency in English

Experience in environmental education or within a resort setting is highly desirable.
